About Pinhoe TSC
Our history, facilities, and community
Club History
Pinhoe Target Shooting Club has a rich history in the Exeter shooting community. We are proud of our heritage and our continued commitment to the shooting sports.
Our Heritage
The club has been serving the shooting community for many years, developing from a small local club into one of the premier shooting facilities in the Southwest. Our commitment to excellence earned us recognition as an NSRA Performance Club.
The Club Merger
Pinhoe TSC is the result of a merger that brought together the strengths and traditions of multiple shooting clubs in the area. This merger created the strong, vibrant community we have today, with over 200 members and world-class facilities.
NSRA Performance Club Status
Pinhoe TSC is proud to hold NSRA Performance Club status, a prestigious recognition from the National Small-bore Rifle Association. This status acknowledges our:
- High-quality facilities and range standards
- Commitment to developing shooters at all levels
- Regular hosting of competitions and training events
- Qualified coaching and instruction programmes
- Active participation in regional and national competitions
Performance Club status demonstrates our dedication to excellence in small-bore rifle and pistol shooting, and our role in supporting the development of shooting sports in the UK.
Disability Shooting Great Britain
We are committed to making shooting accessible to everyone. Our club welcomes shooters with disabilities and works to ensure our facilities are inclusive and accommodating.
We support the work of Disability Shooting Great Britain (DSGB), the national governing body for disability shooting sports in the UK. Our facilities include:
- Wheelchair-accessible ranges and firing points
- Adapted equipment and shooting aids available
- Experienced instructors trained in disability shooting
- Ground-floor access to all main facilities
If you have specific accessibility requirements or questions about disability shooting, please contact us to discuss how we can support you.
Range Development
Our facilities have undergone significant development and expansion over the years. View our range build diaries to see how our world-class facilities came to be.
Registered Charity Status
